The event ‘Safer Internet’, initiated and coordinated by our school psychologist Mr. Th. Konstantopoulou, was successfully carried out at Kessaris High School. The aim of the action was to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology, especially among children and young people. Students of Kessaris High School participated voluntarily and expressed their own ideas, creating entirely their own scenarios and playing roles. Mrs. Elli Theodoratou, Mrs. Irma Papadimitriou and Mr. Dimitris Kontos helped significantly with the completion of the action.
The event started with an awesome video prepared by our High School student Zoe Bandis, and then three short plays were presented.
The students Kapralou Maria, Doga Vassiliki, Raikou Sofia, Jennings Grace and Jennings Ellen, as well as the teachers Mrs. Koukladas Virginia and Mr. Krystallidis Panagiotis participated in the first play entitled "Hidden behind a screen".
The students Iliana Aretaiou, Kalafatis Aris, Katopodis Konstantinos, Basioti Kalthea, Sklivanioti Elektra and Sotiriou Eleni participated in the second one, entitled "The Fame".
The students Parcharidou Alexandra and Psomiadis Konstantinos, Katopodis Konstantinos, Kokkinidis Haris, Olympia Sfyroera and Professor Mr. Apostolidis Evangelos got involved in the third play entitled "Catfishing".
The action had a great impact on everyone, as the leading actors were the students themselves, who wanted to convey messages for a safer and better internet.
