This year Kessaris School is holding a Greek Language Competition named Word Games for all Gymnasium students in Attica.
The competition was inspired by international competitions such as Spelling Bee and basically aims at bringing students into contact with the Greek language in a pleasant and playful way. What differentiates this competition is that it does not only focus on the spelling of words, but it also sheds light on the different aspects of the Greek language. The main purpose of Word Games is for all the participants to realize the greatness of the Greek language, the essential value of language cultivation in daily communication, the special characteristics that make Greek a jewel of the world's cultural heritage, while at the same time cultivating respect for language cultural value.
