Our Kindergarten teachers attended the LEGO Education Preschool training so as to integrate Lego training into the classroom’s next academic school year!
The LEGO Education Preschool Portfolio’s structure is based on the needs of preschool teachers and specially designed through long surveys carried out by prestigious universities. Each educational proposal includes a corresponding curriculum designed and structured in accordance with NAYEC (National Association for Education) and HeadStart’s guidelines as based on Cambridge and Harvard’s special research.
The program is divided into the following categories:
- Build Me Emotions: New students enhance their problem-solving skills, empathy and self-esteem while building, creating stories and describing situations along with colorful LEGO DUPLO blocks.
- StoryTales (Early Language & Literacy): Pupils enhance their collaboration skills, imagination and self-confidence while creating their own stories and representing classic stories along with colorful LEGO DUPLO bricks.
- STEAM Park (Early Math & Science): Students develop the necessary early problem solving, communication and collaboration skills, while experimenting with colorful LEGO DUPLO bricks.
- Coding Express (Early Math & Science): It is a creative, intuitive and flexible solution that supports the development of early programming skills such as:
- Problem solving.
- The computer thinking.
- The use of digital tools to design and present ideas.
